"The Day I Became a God"

On a live stream on May 10, 2020, Key, Aniplex, and P.A. Works held a presentation to announce a new original anime titled 神様になった日 (Kami-sama ni Natta Hi) [The Day I Became a God]. The anime will premiere in October this year. The original work and scenario are written by Jun Maeda, with the character design by Na-Ga, and of course, P.A.Works will be in charge of animation production.
From the official website, the synopsis of the anime plot is:
Hina, a girl awakens as a god Foresees the "End of the world" So she chooses a young boy As a companion to ascertain And spend time with, until the end You can watch the subbed PV below.
A prologue special program that is likely discussing the development of the anime will be broadcasting on May 24, 2020, at 8:30 pm Japan Time. It will be shown on Tokyo MX and we are hoping it would reveal clips of the anime! A special "The Day I Became a God" website specifically established for staff and fans to talk about Maeda Jun was also announced. It is called "Maeda Jun laboratory". The articles currently in the site dives into the many areas of Maeda, such as how Maeda's life experience has influenced his music-making, interviews with Maeda and other notable people who have worked with him, analysis of Maeda's works, etc. Unfortunately, to read the full version of most articles, you would have to join in as a member, which costs 550 Yen a month. The live stream also revealed that the Blu-ray Disc BOX for the 2015 TV anime Charlotte will be on sale on October 14, 2020. The Disc BOX will include all 13 TV broadcast episodes and a special episode, which is likely this episode. The limited edition of the box also includes a 3-disc set that contains video and audio bonuses, a Na-Ga illustrated box cover, a Sekiguchi Kanami (Chief Animation Director) illustrated digipak, and lastly a color booklet.
Three more projects!

Do you still remember this image when Key revealed that they would be announcing EIGHT projects this year? Of course, they have updated it to include the latest project. Thus, we are left with three more projects, with the next one plausibly a Visual Novel!
With the uncertainly of the global health climate in the future, it is difficult to know if Key is able to announce and develop the remaining projects. However, we believe that all Kaggiko are willing to wait for them and will surely care more about the well-being of the staff than the release date.
